Refund policy
At Chef's Culture, we stand behind the quality of our handcrafted dry-aged meats, fermented products, and seasonal goods. Due to the artisanal and perishable nature of our products, we've established the following return policy to ensure food safety while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Perishable Products (Dry-Aged Meats, Ferments, Fresh Items)
Quality Guarantee: We guarantee the quality and freshness of all perishable products upon delivery.
Reporting Issues: Any quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by contacting us at chefscultureco@gmail.com with photos of the product and packaging.
Resolution Options:
- Full refund for products that arrive spoiled, damaged, or significantly different from description
- Replacement product when available
- Store credit for future purchases
Important Notes:
- Perishable products cannot be returned once accepted due to food safety regulations
- Temperature abuse during shipping (left outside, delayed pickup) may void quality guarantee
- Properly aged products with expected aging characteristics (beneficial mold, color changes) are not considered defective
Non-Perishable Products & Pantry Items
Return Window: Non-perishable items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in unopened, original condition.
Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to non-perishable returns unless the item was damaged or incorrectly shipped.
Online Cooking Classes & Digital Products
Refund Period: Full refunds available within 7 days of purchase if you haven't accessed the course materials.
Partial Refunds: Not available once course access has been granted due to the digital nature of the content.
Services (Private Chef, Consulting, Food Safety Training)
Cancellation Policy:
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund
- 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund (except emergency circumstances)
Service Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with our service quality, contact us within 24 hours to discuss resolution options.
Shipping & Handling
Shipping Costs: Non-refundable unless we shipped an incorrect or damaged item.
Expedited Shipping: Additional shipping costs are non-refundable unless the expedited delivery failed due to our error.

- Response Time: We'll respond within 24 hours with next steps
- Return Authorization: Wait for return authorization before sending any products back
Special Circumstances
Weather Delays: We're not responsible for delays due to extreme weather, but will work with you to find a solution.
Incorrect Address: Customer responsibility; additional shipping charges may apply for redelivery.
Seasonal Products: Limited availability items have modified return policies due to short harvest windows.
